Kayte Kinsley enters her second season as the helm of the Mercy College field hockey program. She was appointed head coach prior to the Mavericks' inaugural season of 2010.
Kinsley began recruiting prospective student-athletes immediately, with the nascent program set to begin varsity play in the fall of 2010.
Kayte Kinsley brings energy and passion to the new program. A 2010 graduate of Adelphi with a degree in physical education, Kinsley is no stranger to field hockey in the Hudson Valley. A 2006 graduate of Putnam Valley High School, she led the Tigers to a New York State championship in 2005. Kinsley was a four-time all-league selection, earned Honorable Mention status in Section I and received the Section I Sportsmanship Award.
“I am excited for this opportunity,” Kinsley said. “We’ll take this step-by-step, and build a winning tradition here at Mercy.”
