INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (June 7, 2017) – The Mercy College baseball and softball teams are well represented in the final NCAA statistical rankings released earlier today.
The baseball team ended the season ranked 15th in the nation with 0.43 triples per game, while sophomore Joseph Sadallah was ninth nationally with 0.15 triples per game. Sadallah was also No. 12 in the country with six triples on the year.
The softball team ended the season ranked No. 14 nationally with a .333 team batting average and was 23rd with a .484 slugging percentage. Individually, junior Morgan Lloyd was 34th nationally with a .436 batting average, while sophomore McKaily Cusumano ended the season ranked second in Division II with seven saves. Junior Skania Lemus was 16th with six triples on the year and 27th nationally with 0.12 triples per game.
