DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (May 5, 2012) – The Mercy College baseball team bid farewell to a quintet of seniors as they played their final doubleheader as Mavericks against Dominican (N.Y.) College on Saturday afternoon. The Mavericks fell in both games by scores of 6-1 and 3-2.

(April 18, 2012) – Freshman designated hitter and leading Rookie of the Year candidate Bryan Greig (New City, N.Y.) led the team with three hits and junior centerfielder Nick Papas (Castleton, N.Y.) came up clutch with a two-RBI single in the fifth inning to tie the game but the Mercy College baseball team ended up on the losing end of an 8-5 East Coast Conference matchup with Molloy College on Wednesday afternoon.

FT. PIERCE, Fla. (Mar. 11, 2012) - Today's baseball doubleheader between Mercy College and UMass-Lowell has been postponed due to heavy rain. The Mavericks had just broken up a scoreless tie in the top of the fifth inning of the first game but were unable to complete the half-inning to make the game official due to the torrential downpour.
