Baseball Doubleheader Scheduled For Saturday Postponed

BASEBALL REGULAR SEASON POSTPONED

The Mercy College baseball team's games scheduled for Saturday, February 27, against Merrimack College and Pace University, as well as Sunday's game at Adelphi, have been postponed due to inclement weather.   No makeup dates have been announced for either contest.

First-year Coach Bob Greiner and the Mavericks will instead open their 2010 campaign this Wednesday, March 3, as they travel to Garden City, N.Y., for a game at Adelphi University.  First pitch is scheduled for 3 pm.

The Mavericks open up their home slate when the welcome Southern Connecticut on Friday, March 5. First pitch will be tossed at 3 pm.
