at St. Peter's Boys- Earned three varsity letters...During his career he was a two-time Staten Island Advance All-Star, was an All-City selection, and led the league in stolen bases all three years...As a junior he batted .500, while helping his team to a CHSAA playoff appearance...Followed up by winning the batting title with a .490 batting average as a senior and earned team Most Valuable Player honors...Was also 2-0 on the mound with a pair of saves and a 1.80 earned run average...Was also a three-year varsity letterwinner with the hockey team as a defenseman.
