DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Sept. 30, 2011) – The Mercy College men's and women's home soccer matches for tomorrow, Oct. 1, have been rescheduled for later in the day due to poor field conditions.  The men's match will now take place at Manhattanville College in Purchase, N.Y. at 6:00 p.m. while the women will travel to the Torne Valley Sports Complex in Hillburn, N.Y. for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff.

Please check the men's soccer schedule page at www.mercyathletics.com for LiveStats as Head Coach Chris Smith and the Mavericks look to earn their fifth straight victory, most recently having shut out the University of the District of Columbia, 3-0, thanks to a hat trick from junior forward William Koki (Aurora, Colo.).  Mercy (5-1-1 overall, 1-0-0 in the ECC) will be looking to hand the Spartans (5-0-3, 0-0-1), ranked No. 4 in the NSCAA East Region and receiving votes in the NCAA Division II rankings, their first loss of the season.

Head Coach Jonathan Feinstein and the women's squad (1-7, 0-1) come into the match looking to get their second win on the season following a loss to No. 9 College of Saint Rose.  The Lady Spartans sit below Mercy in the ECC rankings at 0-2 in the conference with a 1-6 overall record.
