Mercy College Director of Athletics Patricia Kennedy has announced the hiring of Madeline Rivas as a Graduate Assistant for the department. Her primary responsibility will be assisting in the daily operations of the department, including business affairs.

Rivas comes to Mercy from the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she served as a representative for the school’s Student Services department.  Prior to FIT, Rivas held positions with Labor Ready, ACDP, Inc., Intercontinental Capital Group, and Argent Mortgage Company.

A graduate of SUNY New Paltz with a B.S. in Finance, the Inwood, N.Y., resident is enrolled in Mercy College’s MBA program.
