Mercy College Has 35 Student-Athletes Named to the 2008-09 ECC
Commissioner's Honor Roll

DOBBS FERRY, NY - A total of 35 Mercy College student-athletes have been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2008-09 academic year. 628 student-athletes comprise this year's Honor Roll with representation from all ten member institutions.
"We are proud of the academic achievements of so many of our student-athletes over this past year," said East Coast Conference Commissioner Robert Dranoff. "They continue to display excellence in the classroom and in their chosen sports as well as through their contributions to their campuses and communities. Congratulations to all those who participated in East Coast Conference athletics."
The Commissioner's Honor Roll is awarded to student-athletes who receive a 3.25 GPA or better in a given academic year. This annual recognition, in addition to Scholar-Athlete awards, helps to uphold the East Coast Conferenence's mission of promoting the total person and the ability to excel not only in the athletic arena but also in the classroom.
