DOBBS FERRY, NY - On Saturday, January 31, more
than 50 alumni and family members, former coaches, staff members,
and friends returned to Mercy College's Dobbs Ferry campus for its
annual Alumni Basketball Day. A fun-filled alumni game was held in
between the Mavericks' women's and men's varsity doubleheader
versus Molloy in the recently renovated gymnasium.
Ralph Smith ('76) was named co-Most Valuable Player for his
sharp-shooting, along with Jessikah McKenzie ('03) and her dazzling
display on the court. Former Director of Athletics Neil Judge
and Bill Delaney ('80) served as honorary coaches, and every decade
of Mercy College athletics was represented. All participants came
together for a reception in the Hudson View Café following
the alumni game and many later attended the men's game against the
Lions.
Mercy College and the athletics department thanks all alumni for their attendance and tremendous support!
