Mercy College Accepting Nominations for Second Class of Athletics Hall of Fame

DOBBS FERRY, NY - The Mercy College athletics department is accepting nominations for its second Hall of Fame class, which will be inducted in the Fall of 2008.

The Mercy College Athletics Hall of Fame was established to honor the program's best student-athletes, teams, staff, and friends, and to recognize the College's rich athletics tradition and history.

The Inaugural Athletics Hall of Fame class was inducted on November 10, 2006, at the Crowne Plaza in White Plains, NY, with over 300 supporters in attendance. The first inductees were former athletics director Neil Judge, men's soccer player Paul Woodley, women's basketball player Stacey Gillespie, baseball player Jim Schult, and former women's basketball coach Carol Schachner Leib.
