Mavericks Basketball to Hold FREE Youth Clinic on Saturday, January 19
DOBBS FERRY, NY - The Mercy College men's and women's basketball teams will hold a FREE youth clinic for boys and girls ages 6 - 11 on Saturday, January 19, prior to their doubleheader versus C.W. Post.
The event will be held at Dobbs Ferry High School, from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Mercy men's basketball head coach Tony Staffiere, women's basketball head coach Ashlee Kelly, their staffs, and student-athletes will offer instructional stations on the fundamentals of the game and will wrap up the clinic with a question and answer session for both children and parents.
All children in attendance will receive complimentary admission to the Mavericks' doubleheader, and will be invited to play on the court at half-time of each game. The women's team will tip-off first at 1:00 p.m., followed by the men at 3:00 p.m.
