Mercy College Fall Athletics Schedules Announced
2006 Fall Schedules
DOBBS FERRY, NY - The Mercy College Athletics Department has announced the 2006 schedules for its fall programs. The men's soccer team will be the first team to kick-off, traveling to play at West Chester University on Friday, August 25, and against the University of D.C. on Saturday, August 26. That game will be held at West Chester University. Mercy's first home game will be on Saturday, September 2, versus Dominican.
The women's soccer team will be next in action, getting its season underway on Tuesday, August 29, at home versus Georgian Court. They will follow it up with a road game at Dominican on Thursday, August 31.
Mercy's women's volleyball team will begin its season with a tilt at Southern Connecticut State on Wednesday, August 30, followed by a trip to take part in a tournament to be hosted by Bryant University on September 8 and 9. Mercy's first home volleyball match will be on Tuesday, September 26, versus St. Rose.
The men's and women's cross country teams will make their first appearance of the season at the Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday, September 9. All of Mercy's meets will be on the road with the NYU Invitational, Iona Invitational, and East Coast Conference championships taking place at nearby Van Cortlandt Park.
