Eileen Sacharewitz and Ken Mundy Named Mercy College's March Student-Athletes of the Month
DOBBS FERRY, NY - Senior Eileen Sacharewitz (Bedford, NY/Byram Hills) of the softball team and sophomore Ken Mundy (Valley Stream, NY/Valley Stream North) of the baseball team have been selected as Mercy College's Student-Athletes of the Month for March.
Mundy posted a .379 batting average in 12 games, going 11-for-29 with a double, three runs batted in and six runs scored. He also walked 10 times to register a .538 on base percentage, stole four bases in six attempts, and made only one error in 62 chances for a .984 fielding percentage at second base.
Sacharewitz batted .364 in four games for the Flyers, going 4-for-11 with two doubles, a run scored, and a run driven in. She also posted a .545 slugging percentage.
