Dr. Ori Shinar was named NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative in the fall of 2008. In this role he serves as a liaison between the College and the athletics department, and also as a representative of the College in conference and NCAA affairs.
Shinar is the Director of Student Counseling Services at Mercy College and is Associate Professor of Psychology in Mercy's School of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
Shinar earned his Bachelor of Arts at the University of
California, Irvine, and a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from
Yeshiva University.
