Brandon Cosby joins the men's basketball coaching staff ahead of the 2016-17 season. 

Cosby arrives in Dobbs Ferry after serving as the lead varsity assistant and Head JV Coach at North Plainfield High School. The resident of Plainfield was a member of the staff that made it to the Group 2 Central Jersey Quarterfinals in back-to-back years. Prior to coaching at North Plainfield, Cosby was lead varsity assistant and Head JV Coach at Piscataway Vo-Tech High School. Cosby helped lead the team to the Group I Central Jersey Quarterfinals with a record of 18-9. Cosby was assistant coach to Karl Towns, Sr., father of 2015 NBA Draft First Overall Pick and NBA 2015-16 Rookie of the Year Karl Anthony Towns, Jr. Cosby also served as a volunteer recruiter at Raritan Valley Community College where he was responsible for recruiting student-athletes throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland. Prior to Raritan, Cosby was lead varsity assistant and Head JV Coach at Plainfield High School from 2008-2010 and was the head coach of the New Jersey Cardinals AAU Basketball Club from 2005-2015.

Cosby played basketball at Saint Paul's College in Virginia from 2004-07 where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.
