Danielle Minerva assumed the Head Athletic Trainer responsibilities in July 2016. Minerva joined Mercy College in September of 2014 as Assistant Athletic Trainer. Minerva is responsible for the daily operations of the athletic training room and the prevention and treatment of student-athletes at Mercy College. She provides primary coverage for men’s soccer, women’s basketball, women’s lacrosse, and baseball.
Minerva is also an Adjunct Instructor of the Introduction to Athletic Training course at Mercy College.
Minerva is a 2012 graduate from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Kinesiology and a 2014 graduate from Seton Hall University with her master’s in athletic training. While completing her master’s, Minerva worked in the sports medicine departments of Glen Rock High School, The College of Mount Saint Vincent, and Ridgewood High School, with observation time spent with David J Feldman and Associates.
Minerva is an active member on the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. She is a native of Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.
