Mercy College Athletics Announces Addition of
Cheerleading Program 
DOBBS FERRY, NY - Mercy College Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation Dr. Kevin T. McGinniss has announced that the College will add cheerleading as a club program beginning in the 2006-07 academic year.
The Mercy College cheerleading squad will be open to both male and female students. Cheerleading try-outs will be conducted in September of each academic year.
The cheerleading squad will perform at all home men's and women's basketball games, and occasionally attend selected away games as well.
