The collection benifits the nationally recognized Pajama Program, which has been highlighted on television shows such as the Oprah Show and the Today Show.
Mercy College employees, friends, fans and alumni can drop off pajamas and books for toddlers and other age children in a collection bin in the Athletic Department Office. If needed, the Mercy College SAAC will arrange for pick-up of the contributed goods.
The SAAC will also be collecting for the Pajama Project at the Mercy College women's basketball non-conference game against Concordia at All fans are encouraged to participate.

About the Pajama
Program
The Pajama Program, a 501(c3) not for profit organization,
provides new warm pajamas and new books to children in need in the
United States and around the world, many of whom are waiting and
hoping to be adopted. These are youngsters who may not know the
comforts of a mother or father to tuck them into a cozy bed and
read them a bedtime story. Too many have been abandoned, most
deprived of any love at all.
