DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Members of the Mercy College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.) are raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation by participating in the “Haunting of Sleepy Hollow” hayride with the village of Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. The student-athletes are part of the action as actors, actresses and set crew. Come support them and the Make-A-Wish Foundation by buying tickets and enjoying this Halloween production.

The S.A.A.C. efforts towards Make-A-Wish are headed up by Assistant Athletic Director and S.A.A.C. advisor, Dr. Darryl Bullock, and head men’s soccer coach Nick Bell. More than 60 student-athletes are signed up to participate over the three-weekend show span.

“Who knew making a difference could be so much fun,” remarked Bullock.

The Haunting of Sleepy Hollow started on Oct. 16, and will continue Oct. 23-24 and Oct. 30. Tickets are available through Bell at nbell@mercy.edu, or call the Athletic Department at 914-674-7281. Or those interested can buy them at the Haunting site.

The production pays homage to Washington Irving’s classic tale of the headless horseman. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the show runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The ticket booth is located at Sleepy Hollow High School on 210 North Broadway, Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.
