Mercy College Student Athlete Advisory Committee Teams Up with Student Affairs in Toys for Tots Holiday Drive

DOBBS FERRY, NY - The Mercy College Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) has teamed up with the Department of Student Affairs to co-sponsor this year's Toys for Tots Holiday Drive. Donations of unwrapped toys for children between the ages of six to 16 years old will be accepted at the main athletics office in the gymnasium and the Campus Management office through December 14.

Coordinated by the United States Marine Corps Reserve, the Toys for Tots programs distribute donated toys as Christmas gifts to needy and underprivileged children in the communities where units are located.  Over the 59 years of the Toys for Tots Program, Marines have distributed more than 370 million toys to more than 173 million needy children.

"We are proud to partner with Student Affairs in support of such a wonderful program," said Dr. Darryl Bullock, SAAC Co-Advisor. "Over the years, the generosity displayed by members of the Mercy College community has been inspiring and we hope to bring cheer to others with limited resources again this holiday season."
